Opening hours
Mon-Thurs: 7am to 8pm
Friday: 7am - 5pm
Saturday 8am - 1pm


Gym approved footwear and clothing must be worn at all times. Access to the fitness areas may be limited in the event of classes or pre-organised sessions. Details of these will be posted and communicated to members through text message or email.

Classes
Members must be aware of age restrictions applied to the class attendance. Members should ensure they familiarise themselves with the classes schedule and recommendations from the Renovate team and complete the Gym questionnaire issued by the Gym prior to their first session. Registration for the classes is a on a first come first serve basis and registration should be always completed prior to the class start.

Changing Rooms
We do not have any changing or shower facilities.

Lost Property
All lost property found on the premises should be handed in to the Gym reception. Items whose ownership cannot be identified will be stored by the Gym for six weeks and then donated to local charities or disposed at the Gyms discretion. Items which appear valuable may be sold with proceeds donated to charity.

The Gym will require description of item and date lost before returning to owner.

Safety and Hygiene
In the interest of safety and hygiene, no glasses are allowed in the fitness area and other activity areas. No pets will be allowed on the Gym premises, with the exception of guide dogs. Entry to the Gym is only permitted at the Gym reception and entrance. Fire exits, which are clearly marked, are there in the interest of safety and members and guest must not interfere with these doors for any reason. In the event of an emergency evacuation, members must immediately make their way in an orderly fashion to the nearest exit.

Behaviour
If any member shall cause nuisance or annoyance to other members, guests or Gym staff, or misuse the Gym facilities, or breach any etiquette guidelines, or generally behave inappropriately, the Gym reserves the right to refuse admission or suspend or terminate membership. In particular, abusive language, threatening or violent behaviour will not be tolerated. All minors using the Gym must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times. No photography (including the taking of images through a mobile phone or camcorder) is allowed in any area of the Gym.

Comments and Complaints
Please refer to any comments or complaints to a member of the Gym staff. Written complaints must be addressed to the Gym Manager.

Renovate will deal with any complaints directly with guests. If you require a formal complaint, please email the complaint to info@renovategym.co.uk

Physical activity Readiness Questionnaire
Upon joining the Gym all new members are required to complete and sign a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire. The purpose of this is to ensure that the Gyms staff are fully informed of any physical or medical condition which could affect the members ability or suitability to take part in physical activities. Only if the Gyms staff are fully and accurately informed, can they access the members health and fitness level and prepare an appropriate exercise program. The Gym strongly recommends that all members seek medical advice before commencing a new exercise programme and the Gym reserves the right to request a doctors certificate and to reject a membership application if a satisfactory doctors certificate is not received by the Gym



Gym Disclaimer

Under Age usage

I confirm that all children under the age of 16 years old must be always accompanied by an adult while using Renovate Gym facilities. Additionally, I acknowledge that no children under the age of 16 are permitted in the fitness room even under adult supervision.

Assumption of risk

I hereby state that I wish to participate in activities which may include gymnasium exercise (aerobic and resistance), I realise that participation in these activities involves a risk of injury and even the possibility of death. Furthermore, I hereby confirm that Im voluntarily engaging in an acceptable level of exercise, which has been recommended to me.

Neither us, our employees, agents or subcontractors will be liable to you for any loss, damage or theft of any property brought onto our premises; or any death, personal injury or illness occurring on or resulting from use of our premises (including that caused by use of facilities and/or equipment unless caused by our employees, agents, subcontractors or our negligent act or omission.)

Data Protection act

Any data obtained from you may be used by us for our own administrative purposes and for the purposes of providing you with information relating to a range of services and products promoted by us or other members of the Renovate and Chiltern Physiotherapy. That data may be disclosed to other members of the group for marketing purposes

Use of Gym facilities

a) You are solely responsible for ensuring that you correctly operate or use any facilities and/or equipment (including adjusting levels or settings) which we provide. If you are in any doubt about how to correctly operate any equipment, you must consult one of our representatives before use.

b) Some areas of our Gym are unsupervised and we do not accept responsibility for any harm or injury to you whilst using them unless caused by our employees, agents or subcontractors or our negligent act or omission.

c) You will not abuse the facilities or equipment of the Gym and you will pay for any damage to our property where you wilfully or negligently (including in relation to b) cause such damage.

d) Our failure to enforce any of our rights at any time, for any period and for whatever reason will not be construed as a waiver of such rights, neither will any failure to identify or act upon your breach of the terms of this contract be deemed to be an affirmation by us that your behaviour is acceptable.

e) I accept that entrance to certain areas of the Gym may be refused for Health and safety reasons

f) I agree to follow all Renovate Gym and Chiltern Physiotherapy guidelines provided by the team.

g) Relevant Gym membership terms and conditions shall apply to this document

h) Members/guest are required to use correct attire while in the Health Gym facilities



On-Demand and Live Content
Always consult your doctor before you take up a new exercise regime. If you chose not to consult your GP/Physiotherapist before commencing this exercise program, you do so at your own risk. Stop an exercise if it causes pain or you feel unwell. It is the responsibility of the participants to ensure

There is sufficient space to perform the exercises safely and move freely without obstacles or obstructions, free from furniture, equipment, and other hazard.
There are no distractions throughout the duration of the session.
There is sufficient heating, lighting, ventilation, and hydration.
The use of the content is for sole distribution of the individual that owns a valid membership with Renovate Wellness and has agreed to Terms and Conditions of use.
Any equipment is safe and in a suitable condition for the activity being performed.
The surrounding floor space is entirely clear to remove any hazards that may increase the risk of slips, trips or falls.
You should understand that when participating in any exercise programme, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in any of the exercises/videos produced by Renovate Wellness you agree that you do so at your own risk. Renovate Wellness does not accept responsibility for any injury or accident incurred because of following the exercises or exercise programmes in person, live online or via our on-demand service.

Renovate Wellness shall not be responsible or liable for any damages, injury or harm resulting from your access to, or inability to access this website, or from your reliance upon any information provided the sites used as distribution platform (Youtube, Vimeo, Renovate Wellness), this includes pre-recorded online videos and Workshops and information shared on our website and social media groups including emails, videos, photographs, and text.

Terms and Conditions
Members and Guests must be aware of the Gym terms and conditions. A copy of this document is issued on joining. A copy of the terms and conditions can be found in the company website. The Gym reserves the right to terminate the members membership or vacation of the premises if there is a breach of the members compliance with the Gym terms and Conditions.



1. Definitions:

1.1 The Gym: Renovate Gym

1.2 The Gym Rules: The rules and regulations of the Gym, as amended from time to time. A copy of the Gym rules will be supplied to you with your application for membership and further copies will be made available on request.

1.3 Commitment Period: The minimum term you are committing to remain a member of the Gym from the Start Date of this agreement to the commitment period end date of 30 days and pro-rata amount for the first month of your membership (subject to extension if your membership is suspended).

2. Membership:

2.1 By signing this Membership Application Form the member agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions of Membership and the Gym Rules.

2.2 You will only be permitted to use the Gym facilities provided your membership is current and fully paid up or you have made payment arrangements acceptable to the Gym.

2.3-Restarting your membership after cancellation a) You may start your membership again at any time. You will need to sign a new membership agreement form and set up a new direct debit with us. b) You may not be able to restart your membership until you have paid any amounts you owe us (if any), and we can refuse to let you restart your membership again.

3. Membership Categories: The Gym offers different categories of membership which are set out in the Gym's information sheet. Your choice of category on joining will determine the fees you pay and any restrictions that may apply to your use of Gym facilities. You may change to any other available membership category by giving one months notice to the Gym.

4. Duration: When you join the Gym you are agreeing to remain a member for the Commitment Period. If you choose to pay your membership fees monthly, your Gym membership will continue automatically after the Commitment Period end date at the fee rate applicable to your membership type and category of membership at that date, but subject to termination in accordance with paragraph 8.2(b). If you choose to join the Gym by paying your Commitment period membership fee in advance, your Gym Membership will terminate automatically on expiry of the Commitment Period.

5. Fees: The Gym will set the level of fees and will review such fees periodically. The Gym reserves the right to change the level of fees from time to time but guarantees that your fees will not increase during your Commitment Period. For any changes to the monthly fee, we will give you at least 30 days written notice. The following fees prevail:

5.1 Membership fee; The level of membership fees shall be determined according to the type and category of membership.

5.2 Joining fee; A joining fee is payable as specified in your application form. Your joining fee goes to start-up costs.

5.3 Guest user fee; A fee will be set by the Gym from time to time in respect of guests of members who wish to visit the Gym and use the facilities.

5.4 Other Fees; All other fees and prices for the sale of goods at the Gym, locker rental, solarium, bar/restaurant and any other services will be set by the Gym from time to time.

5.5 If your bank fails to make a due direct debit payment from your account, we will write to advise you of this. We may apply to your bank for payment by direct debit twice within one calendar month and we reserve the right to refer any missed due payments to a debt collection agency. We may charge a fee of no more than £15 for failed direct debit payments and of no more than £5 for letters sent to you in respect of unpaid amounts.

5.6 Should any membership fees not be paid within 30 days of the due date, the full membership fee for the remainder of the commitment period will automatically become due and payable in full.

5.7 Any unpaid and overdue membership fees referred to a debt collection agency will be subject to a surcharge of no more than £30 to cover the collection costs incurred. This surcharge, together with all other charges and legal fees incurred in the collection of the overdue membership fees, will be the responsibility of the member and will be legally recoverable from the member.

5.8 We may appoint a payment processing agent to receive and collect your monthly or annual direct debit instalments and in respect of payments made by direct/credit card. There will be no extra cost to you for these processing services supplied by such agent.

5.9 We may charge a reasonable fee of up to £35 for any of the following: replacing lost membership cards, removing or adding Associate members, changing membership category and transferring memberships.

5.10- You must bring your membership card with you each time you visit. If you forget your membership card, we may ask to see a second form of ID before we allow you to enter your Gym. We may delay your access to the Gym to give us enough time to record your visit.

6. Member Rewards Scheme: The Gym may operate a referral scheme whereby you will receive a financial benefit for introducing new members to the Gym.

6.1 If the member you introduce joins on a Direct Debit membership, you will receive the benefit monthly (in arrears and after the first Direct Debit payment has been made by the referred member) against your account or your monthly Direct Debit fee, with the following conditions: a) You will only receive this benefit if your membership, and that of the referred member, are both current. b) You will only receive this benefit if the referred member 's membership is not suspended. c) The amount you benefit is fixed at the time of the referred member joining the Gym. This will only change if the member you refer changes their type of membership, in which case the benefit you receive may be increased or reduced accordingly. d) The Gym may set a limit as to the number of members you are able to refer.

6.2 If the member you refer joins on an annual membership, you will receive the benefit due against your account or your monthly Direct Debit fee as one lump sum upon the referred member joining the Gym.

7. Suspension of Membership: A Member may, if he/she is unable to make use of the Gym facilities by reason of illness or injury, suspend his/her membership for one continuous period of at least 1 month and a maximum of 3 months. 30 days written notice must be given to the Gym and the Gym shall have the right to request a doctor's certificate. A reduced monthly fee will be charged by the Gym during the suspension of membership. Any suspension during the Commitment Period will extend the length of the Commitment Period by the length of the period your membership is put on hold. Notice to terminate membership cannot run concurrently with a suspension period.

8. Termination:

8.1 Termination by the Gym We may terminate this agreement in the following circumstances: (a) if you commit a serious or repeated breach of this agreement or the Gyms rules of membership and the breach, if capable of remedy, is not remedied within 7 days of receipt of a default notice; (b) If any part of your membership fee remains unpaid 30 days after its due date for payment, or (c) If you provide us with details which you know to be false when applying for membership and the false declaration would have reasonably affected our decision to grant you membership. If we terminate for any of these reasons, we reserve the right to retain a proportion of the money paid under this agreement, to cover any reasonable costs incurred.

8.2 Termination by you: You may terminate this agreement in the following circumstances: (a) You can give notice to terminate at any point during the Commitment Period, but this cannot end your membership before the end of the Commitment Period. (b) You may terminate your membership by giving the Gym at least 1 full calendar months notice, so that your membership will terminate at the end of the following calendar month after notice was given. To cancel your membership, you must send your notice in writing to info@renovate.com or fill in a cancellation form at the gym. If your gym receives your notice by the first day of the month, your membership will end on the last day of the same month. If your Gym receives your notice after the first day of the month, your membership will end on the last day of the following month (this means we will take one more direct debit payment before cancelling your membership). For example, if we receive your notice on 10 May, it will take effect from 30 June. If you are within your commitment period, we will cancel the membership from the 1st day of the month after the commitment period has finished, if it is at least one full calendar month in advance. If you are not sure what your commitment period is, please contact your home Gym.

. (c) Cancelling your direct debit instruction for the payment of fees is not sufficient. The Gym will charge your Direct Debit account unless the Gym is notified of the cancellation (d) You may terminate this agreement on 1 calendar months notice if you are unable to use the Gym through serious illness or injury likely to preclude you from using the Gym for a period of least 6 calendar months. (We will request reasonable evidence of your illness or injury e.g. a doctors certificate). (e) You may also terminate this agreement if: a. We permanently reduce the facilities or opening hours of the Gym b. We change the location of the Gym; or c. We close the Gym for refurbishment for a period of more than 30 days at a time (f) In the event that this agreement was made during a specific pre-sales period and you became a founder member, you are allowed to terminate this agreement as specified in

8.2 paragraph (b) within 28 days of the official Gym opening date. We will use our reasonable endeavours to give you at least 45 days notice of the change (either in writing or by prominently displaying a sign in the Gym) and, if you wish to terminate your membership due to reasons stated above, you can give us 30 days notice in writing to terminate.

9. Membership Cards:

9.1 Membership cards shall be issued to all members upon joining the Gym and are used to gain entry to the Gym. Membership cards are not transferable and any members allowing their card to be used by another person is in serious breach of these Membership Terms and Conditions and will entitle the Gym to terminate membership without notice in accordance with Clause 8 above.

9.2 If a membership card is lost, it should be reported to the gym for replacement

10. Gym Rules:

10.1 The Gym may amend the Gym Rules from time to time in order to ensure the health and safety of members. Temporary amendments will be displayed in the Gym. Permanent changes to the Gym Rules will only be made after at least 30 days notice to members, except in the case of emergency.

10.2 Renovate Gym reserves the right to adjust the availability of certain facilities or close the Gym on a temporary basis for the general purpose of cleaning, decorating, essential repairs, maintenance of equipment, special functions and holidays.

11. Restriction of Liability:

11.1 Subject to paragraphs 11.2 and 11.3, the Gym will not accept liability for any loss, damage to or theft of money, valuables or other personal property of members and guests. Property stored in lockers provided by the Gym is stored at the owner's risk and no liability for loss or damage thereto will be accepted by the Gym.

11.2 Our liability to compensate you for any loss or damage (in the case of loss or damage other than death or personal injury) is limited to a reasonable amount having regard to such factors as whether the damage was due to a negligent act or omission by us.

11.3 The Gym accepts liability for damage, accident, death, personal injury or other loss sustained by members or guests on the Gym premises to the extent caused by its negligence or the negligence of its employees and agents (during the course of their employment and agency, as appropriate) unless that failure is attributable to: (a) Your own fault (b) A third party unconnected with our provision of services under this agreement; or (c) Events which neither we nor our supplier could have foreseen or forestalled even if we had taken all reasonable care.

11.4- When we carry out any health assessments and exercise questionnaires we may identify possible problems with you taking part in exercise and recommend that you get medical advice. We are not responsible if you ignore our recommendations and continue to exercise at the Gym.

11.5- we do not have to pay you compensation for any service, facility or equipment not being available for health and safety reasons or if it is for the benefit of our members.

12. Health & Safety: Members must read all Health and Safety notices displayed in the gym and comply with their recommendations.

13. Sale of Gym: In the event of the sale or disposal of the Gym to another company or to any other person we may transfer your membership to the new owner and you will continue as a member of the Gym and continue to pay your membership fees provided no changes to these terms or the Gym rules having a material adverse effect on your use of the Gym are made by the new owner. Any such disposal will not affect your contractual or statutory rights.

14. Notices: Notices from you to the Gym must be in writing and addressed to the Gym Manager. The gym reserves the right to require evidence of posting or delivery where it has no record of receipt, or the date of any notice appears inconsistent with the date of receipt. In these cases, the notice will be deemed not given unless such evidence is produced. Any notice handed to the Gym must be receipted. Notices from the Gym to you will be posted to you at your address in the membership records (or, where these terms permit, displayed on notice boards at the Gym).
